How To Make A City Grow

Most of us have been in a place that was clearly not growing.

Whether a city or an organization or a neighborhood or a church.

And when lack of growth is a problem (and whether admitted or not, it’s a problem) there’s usually one cause: not being open to young people.

I don’t mean teens (though you want them around) but young adult families.

Being open to older adults is easy. It requires continuing a status quo. Which is deceptively easy.

But changing that can also be deceptively easy as well: it’s changing a culture and an atmosphere to encourage young people. Especially young families.

An ocean is made up of drops of water.

What drops can you do today to change your city or organisation’s culture?
