Follow The Money

“Follow the money” is almost always good advice.

No less now with the responses and decrees regarding Covid than with any other crisis.

The vaccine rollout has been exceptionally profitable for three large drug manufacturers, and there’s a trickle down of money made in the whole process of giving the public the vaccine.

But there’s another money maker that most of us don’t think about and that’s Covid testing. Worldwide, there have been over 2 billion tests done. Not that that many people have been tested; there are lots of people who’ve had numerous tests.

An average cost is around US$150 per test. Again, that doesn’t include some incidental costs, but it’s a good base.

Which works out to – conservatively – at least $200 billion spent on testing alone.

Follow the money. It will not fail you.
